Gary Duane Bullard, 55, of Sulphur, La., passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was born to his late parents, Gene and Louise on Feb. 4, 1968, in Sulphur, La. He was employed by Sulphur Parks and Recreation (S.P.A.R.) for 32 years. Gary loved fishing, bowling, and loved watching his Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving husband and father, and was a great Christian man who loved the Lord. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 29 years, Lori Bullard; daughter, Leann Bullard of Sulphur, La.; along with his siblings, Mark Bullard of Sulphur, La., and Jennifer Bellon (Randy) of Moss Bluff, La.
A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Michael Linton officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery.
