Dianne Doiron Deason

Dianne Doiron Deason, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in a local hospice.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Dianne was a graduate of Sulphur High School and Northeast Louisiana University where she earned her degree in pharmacy. She worked for many years as a pharmacist in Sulphur and Lake Charles. She was an active member of Henning Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Henning’s Women’s Bible Study and the Sleep In Heavenly Peace bed building ministry. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, cooking, fishing, family gatherings, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her family will remember her love of fireworks, Cheetos, and dessert. Dianne was the ultimate planner and went above and beyond to make family gatherings special. She was always ready to help in any way and will be remembered by many for her kind, caring, and generous spirit.
Survivors include her children, Bradley Deason of Baltimore, Md., and Lori D. Reynolds and husband Bob of Fort Worth, Texas; her sisters, Nancy Doiron of Westlake, and Betty Waldron and husband Jim of San Antonio, Texas; her former husband, Ronnie Deason of Sulphur; and her grandchildren, Landon Reynolds, Sadie Reynolds and Cora Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Pearl Doiron.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, in Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Juliet Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Charles under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and from 10 a.m. Saturday in the church.
