David Bruce Campbell passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at the age of 63. He was born on Oct. 10, 1959, in Dearborn, Mich., to Saul and Sue Roberts Campbell.
David grew up in Flour Bluff, Texas, and eventually settled in Lake Charles in 1993, where he married the love of his life, Tina. He had a love for deer hunting and fast cars, but above all, he adored his family and cherished the time he spent with them. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, and his memory will be treasured by all those who loved him.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Tina Timmons Campbell; his mother, Sue Roberts Campbell; his children, Michael Campbell (Sadia), Heath Campbell (Madison), Sue Campbell, and Jessica Campbell; his brothers, Keith Campbell (Michelle) and Donny Rittenberry; and eight grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his father, Saul; his son, Jonathan Campbell; his sister, Brenda Rittenberry; and his stepfather, Alan Howze.
A funeral service to honor David’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m.
