John Thomas Bruce passed in the early morning hours of Jan. 26, 2023, from a brief illness in his home in Laughlin, Nev.
John lived most of his life with family in Longville, La.; before moving Laughlin, Nev.
While in Louisiana, John was employed at Northrop Grumman Lake Charles prior becoming disabled.
John loved his time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Benjamin Bruce; his mother, Lois Jane Collingwood Bruce; and brother, Darrel Wayne Bruce Sr.
He is survived by his two brothers, Michael S Bruce of Lake Charles, and William A Bruce of Longville, his three sisters, Kathrine A. Bruce of Lake Charles, Debra G Bruce of Longville, and Patricia S. Domingue of Lake Charles, and his very close friend Anita of Laughlin, Nev.
John’s final wishes were to come home to Longville and be with his family. His family plans to commemorate these last wishes in some way.
When the final arrangements are made by the family, they will be announced so we can all celebrate his life together.
