Arlo J. Savoie, of Sweet Lake, La., 63, passed away peacefully on Jan. 20, 2023.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Pam Richard Savoie; two daughters, Laura Taylor (Billy) and Kayla Conner (Carl); one granddaughter, Kinley Taylor; four grandsons, Kobe (Carlee) and Kaden Taylor, John Ervin and Collin Conner; his parents, Willard “Yank” and Twila Savoie; three brothers, Shadd Savoie (Pamela), Aaron Savoie and Jess Savoie (Jenifer); mother-in-law, Geraldine Richard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivan and Ella Fontenot and John “Collin” and Lula Belle Savoie; and father-in-law, Ervin Richard.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a rosary at 1 p.m. and a Scripture service at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Sweetlake Cemetery following the scripture service.
