David Scott Koonce, a retired electrician, died Dec. 9, 2022, in Las Vegas.
A native of Louisiana, he attended DeQuincy High School there. Dave liked watching baseball, cooking, reading, fishing, and camping with his grandkids. He retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Koonce; one sister, JoAnn Treme; and two brothers, Charles and Joseph Koonce.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; three children, Amanda Miller, Arin (Troy) Daigneau, and Adam Koonce; two stepsons, Richard (Fallon) and Robert (Crystal) Griffith; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren, Jasmin, Garfield, Isaac, Troy, Dallie, Haisely, Penny, Ivy and Avery; and two sisters, Grace Willson and Mary Koonce.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be on a future date.
