Memorial services will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 at a 2 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Glenn Paul Comeaux Sr., age 65, who passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Glenn was a native of Lake Charles, where he graduated from St. Louis High School in 1975. Upon graduation, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from McNeese State University in 1979. Glenn was formerly employed with Burton Industries and Grex Incorporated and was currently employed with Taylors International in Lafayette as an accountant since 2014.
He loved watching LSU football with his family and friends, playing with his dog, Prints, and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lyn Comeaux of Lafayette; one son, Glenn “Paul” Comeaux Jr. of Lafayette; one grandchild, Silas Meranda; and three brothers, Dwight Comeaux and wife, Cheryl, of Lake Charles, David Comeaux and wife, Christy, and Anthony Comeaux and wife, Alecia, both of Moss Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Comeaux and the former, Florette Miller.
A rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. Monday until service time on Monday.
