Robert J. (Bobby) Fontenot passed away Tuesday morning in a local care facility.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Moss Bluff; his daughter, Lisa Fontenot-Owens (Thomas); and son, Chris Fontenot (Kandi), all of Moss Bluff; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brother, Carl Fontenot (Debbie); and sisters, Linda Landry and Cynthia Clostio (Bob), all of Lake Charles; several nieces and nephews; and uncle, Davis Deville of Texas.
Robert was a member of Local 798 and Local 106 Plumbers and Steam Fitters. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Fontenot; and his mother, Verna Soileau. Also, a grandson, Thomas Tre Owens III.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
