Charles Ronald Rayon, age 89, of Lake Charles, La., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022.
He was born Nov. 29, 1932, to parents Lester Rayon Sr. and Odette Carter.
Charles served in the the U.S. Navy during the Korean war and earned The National Defense Service medal. In Charles’ younger years he enjoyed boxing. He also enjoyed arts as well as cowboy and mystery movies. He enjoyed his personal time but most of all he loved and protected his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Gene Rayon.
Those left to cherish his memories are his brother, Lester Rayon Jr.; two nieces, Tracy Francis and husband Jerome, and Nanette Rayon; one nephew, Eugene Rayon; six great-nieces and nephews; cousins; Lee J. Romero and wife Janie of New Orleans, La., Carol Rayon husband Larry, and Carrier family in Lebleu settlement.
His final resting place is at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
