The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
Alejandro Parada, 21, Houston — monetary instrument abuse. Bond: $20,000.
Melissa Hernandez, 21, Houston — two counts monetary instrument abuse; theft less than $1,000. Bond: $45,000.
Meloney Faye Manuel, 39, 307 Navarre St. — cruelty to juveniles; improper supervision of a minor by parent or legal custodian. Bond: $160,000.
Juliette Ghessi, 19, Houston — monetary instrument abuse; theft less than $1,000.
Ronald Mason, 59, Laplace — domestic abuse battery.
Joyce Ann Simien, 55, 1828 Josephine St. — domestic abuse battery.
Jonthan Allen Hunt, 38, Baton Rouge — simple burglary; theft from $5,000 but less than $25,000.
Edwin Jerome Landry, 47, 1920 6th St. — violations of protective orders; criminal trespass; criminal mischief; resisting a police officer with force or violence.
