The body of a Lake Charles man missing since early this morning has been discovered in a pond near his home.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said Paul A. Brown, 82, who suffered from dementia, left on foot from his residence on Corbina Road at about 1:30 a.m Saturday.

Vincent said foul play is not suspected in Brown’s death, which will be determined by the coroner.
