An Iowa, La. man was arrested Friday on a domestic-violence related charge, according to the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Justin Keith Roy, 33, is charged with domestic abuse battery.

Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said deputies were called to a residence on Woolridge Road on Friday in reference to a domestic disturbance,

When deputies arrived, the complaint said Roy was drinking and pushed her to the floor when she arrived home. Deputies observed torn clothing, a busted lip and bloody nose on the complaint, Ivey said.

Bond for Roy is set at $5,000.
