Two people were injured Sunday afternoon during a shooting in the 2100 block of Fitzenreiter Road.

Lake Charles Police Sgt. Brenda Desormeaux said both were transported to local hospitals — one in critical condition and the other with non life-threatening injuries.

She said the investigation is ongoing and further updates will be provided as they become available.

The lead investigators are Sgt. Dets. Ben Randolph and Hope Sanders
