Wayne L. Gray

Wayne L. Gray (1945-2021) passed away Thanksgiving day at home surrounded by family.
Wayne’s legacies were his kindness and gentle heart. He enjoyed all things football, Ducks Unlimited, Krewe of Cosmos, mowing yards for little old ladies, and activities at St. John Bosco.
Wayne was predeceased by his first wife and mother of his sons, Dorothy Perkins Gray; his mother, Claudine Franklin and grandmother Myra Griffin; and mother-in-law, Maurine Perkins Nevill.
He is survived by his loving wife Rose of Kingwood, Texas; beloved sons Michael (Victoria) of Vivian, La.; and Steven of Sulphur, La.; grandchildren David Gray of Minden, La.; Elizabeth Gray of Vivian, La.; and twin brothers Ronald and Donald Franklin of Ruston, La.
Additionally he leaves step-children, Doug (Erika) Westmoreland of Youngsville, La.; Amy (Buddy) Bonollo of Estero, Fla.; Katie (Chris) Breaux of Kingwood, Texas; and 11 step-grandchildren and one great who loved him as “Graypa”.
In his spirit of giving, Wayne donated his body to science and when his ashes are returned will be interred with Dorothy‘s at a private memorial in Ruston.
