12/27: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Mark Anthony Thomas, 58, 425 Bank St. — drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense ($14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $7,000.

Blake Dean Cooley, 27, 110 Lois St., DeQuincy — aggravated assault; simple battery. Bond: $5,000.

Stephen Wayne Starnes, 57, Sugarland, Texas — residential contractor fraud $1,500 or more; failure to possess the required license for home improvements, residential construction required; exploitation of the infirmed. Bond: $50,000.

Denman Eli Goodwin, 50, 225 Pumpkin Loop, DeRidder — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; theft of a motor vehicle from $1,00 but less than $5,000. Bond: $70,000.

John L. Brignac, 34, 2465 La. 397, No. 149 — third-degree rape; indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $1.2 million.

Carl Michael Jones, 58, 165 Reeves Road, No. 122, Moss Bluff — domestic abuse battery.

Ashley Dawn Shelden, 42, 7950 Clearview Drive, No. 26 — domestic abuse battery; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); two counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia.

James Edward Thornton, 54, 940 Kirby St., No. 9, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery. Bond: $6,500.

Diondrea P. Johnson, 34, 2013 13th St. — illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense. Bond: $7,500.

Roland Martin, 60, 531 Marshal LeLeur Road, Kinder — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $5,000.

Mansel Todd Langley, 36, 5748 Nobie Lane — domestic abuse battery.

Robert Lee Burrell, 39, 1208 California St. — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; violations of protective orders; intimidating, impeding or injuring witnesses, injuring officers; battery of  dating partner, strangulation.

Jeremiah Kyle Manuel, 40, 2310 Claude Hebert Road — three counts direct contempt of court; four counts theft of a motor vehicle from $1,000 but less than $5,000; simple burglary; theft less than $1,000.

Lacreshia Antwannat Harmon, 25 — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; aggravated assault with a firearm. Bond: $10,000.

Ashleigh N. Higginbotham, 30, 1405 Matthew Drive, Moss Bluff ‚ possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17. Bond: $7,000.

Morgan Benjamin Duhon, 20, 926 Talouse Drive — drug possession; disturbing the peace. Bond: $6,000.

Ronald J. Chargois Sr., 72, 3572 Oakwood Drive, Sulphur — simple battery; domestic abuse battery.

Alexander Charles Boreing, 20, 535 Menard Road, Sulphur — drug possession; illegal use of controlled dangerous substances int he presence of persons under 17; illegal possession of stolen things.

Christopher Edward Chretien, 30, 619 Oleo St. — violations of protective orders.
