JENNINGS — A fugitive sex offender is back behind bars.

Terry Joseph Landry, 33, of Jennings was arrested Tuesday on two contempt of court warrants for theft and cruelty to juveniles. He was also charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies have been searching for Landry since he failed to appear in court.

He is being held without bond in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
