Dave “D J” Allison Jr., 79, was born October 22, 1941 in
Glenmora, Louisiana to the late Dave and Rosie Lee Watson Allison Sr. A native of Glenmora, he was a resident of Sulphur most of his life where he was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He was a member of the 3rd and 4th degree
Knights of Peter Claver and also as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired employee of Olin Chemical Plant, a former Parish Council member, and a trustee on the Building Committee for St. Martin De Porres. Mr. Allison departed this
life Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 9:30PM in Lake Charles. He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Margaret Allison and Ahsley Allison (Crystal); son, Patrick (Mellissa) Allison; brother, Larry J. (Mary L.) Allison; grandchildren, Sean
Andrus, Jordan Andrus, Bayleigh Allison, Briona Allison, Marty Guillory, Eugenia Lemelle, Ryan Lemelle, Chris Lemelle, and Cory Lemelle; three who were like grandchildren, Hunter, Emmalou, and Abigayle Johnson; mothers of his children which he
remained very close to, Mary R. Allison and Barbara Allison; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Desiree Guillory; four sisters, Velma Guidry, Verlina Allison Trahan, Liz Allison Armelin,
and Carrie Richard; and three brothers, Dennis Wayne Allison, Henry Allison, and Calvin Allison. His visitaiton will be from 9AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 with his funeral following at 11AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur.
Father Edward Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Farquar Cemetery under the direction of James Funeral Home.
