Dorothy Joy Tramonte

Dorothy Joy Tramonte, age 77, of Sulphur, Louisiana went
to her Eternal Home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on July 14, 1943 in Ringgold, Louisiana.
Dorothy was also known as “Dot” and attended Our Lady Of Prompt Succor Catholic Church for many years.
Dorothy was a loving, kind and generous person. She loved the Lord above all things. She loved to listen to music and would sing along with the music. She was a good and loving mother. She loved her children, daughter in laws and son in law and
treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she loved spending time with each one of them. She was so proud of her grandchildren and would tell them this often. Dot loved life and lived life to the fullest. She never met a stranger. We
will all miss her so much, but her memories will live on through her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her friend and father of her children, Joseph Nick Tramonte, her parents, Cortez and Marslee Rushing, and
brother, William Leon Rushing, and a sister, Betty Jean Bullock.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Page and husband, Stephen; sons, Joseph Nick Tramonte, Jr., Jeffery Tramonte and wife, Mona, and Jonathan
Tramonte and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Britini Tommasi and husband, Jonathan, Mikaela Blanchard and husband, Eric, Stephen Joshua Page, Chloe Tramonte, Cesar, Sarah, Andrew, Nicholas, Christian, and Madilyn Tramonte, Andrew, Austin, and Avery
Tramonte; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Grant Tommasi; sister, Shirley Rushing; brother, J. W. Rushing and wife, Jane; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in
Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Our Lady Of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Rev. Edward Richard, M.S. will officiate.
Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
