Douglas J. “Doug” Miller, 66, died on Jan. 16, 2021, in
Nocona, Texas. He was born on Dec. 9, 1954, to Joseph and Naomi Bishop Miller. Doug was a hard worker all of his life owning a construction business. He married the love of his life, Susie Newsom on Dec. 8, 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is
survived by his parents, Joseph and Naomi Miller, wife, Susie Miller of Coppell, Texas, sons, Douglas Joe Miller Jr. of Coppell, Texas, Richard Allen Miller of Coppell, Texas, sister Darla Atkinson of Carrollton, Texas, brother, Jim Miller of Lake
Charles, La., and grandchildren, Isabella, Joseph, Caroline and Declan. There will be a graveside service for Doug on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Center Point Cemetery in Montague County Texas officiated by the Revs. Sherrill Stiles and
Sam Campbell.
