Funeral service for Rogers Armalin, 91, will be at 2 p.m.
Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 New Covenant Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery in Westlake, La. under the direction of Stevens’ Funeral Home. Rogers is survived by two daughters, Brigette Street, Rene Featherstone of Los Angeles, Ca.; two sons, Roderick Armalin of Los Angeles, Ca., Brandon Armalin
(Bridgette) of Lake Charles, La.; one brother, Robert “Bobby” Armelin of Los Angeles, Ca.; four sisters, Minnie Gobert, Betty Hull (Chuck) and Edna Jones all of Carson, Ca and Connie Benton (Larry) of Sulphur, La.; grandchildren, Paul (Liz), Chuva
(Frederick), Aunjel, Kourtland, Kendall, Ryan, Tyler and Ashley; great grandchildren, Riley, Ayah, Bryson and Wolfgang and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ella
Armelin, two brothers, Oscar Armelin Jr. and Albert “AJ” Armelin Sr.; four sisters, Evelyn Hartman, Bernadine Rogers, Lannie Molo, Ella “Mae” Montgomery and Patricia Jackson.
