Lena DeClouette LaCour, age 66, passed away peacefully in
Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 26, 2020, from a long illness. She was born in New Orleans, La., and lived her younger years in Lake Charles, La., with Mr. and Mrs. Louis and LouBertha Jones.
She made her way to Los Angeles, Calif., and
worked as a Los Angeles Police Officer then Transit Dept. She married Clarence LaCour and had a daughter, Crystal L. Guzman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Florena T. DeClouette, Louis and LouBertha Jones; sisters,
Emily D. Pressley, Gail G. Cromer; brother, Larry DeClouette.
She is survived by daughter, Crystal Guzman; granddaughter, Amara Guzman; sisters, Diana D. Jourdan, Madeline D. Leger, Jeanette DeCloutte, Gertrude DeClouette and Julia
Guillory.
Cremation will be a scattering at sea, date unknown.
In lieu of flowers, her fmaily request donations be made to the cancer society.
