BREAKING: Juvenile shot at apartment complex

A juvenile suffered a gunshot wound Thursday after noon at the Le Jolliet Apartments on Fifth Avenue.
Lake Charles Police Deputy Chief F. Fondel said the juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
This investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released as they become available, Fondel said.
Sgt. Larry Newingham is the lead investigator. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation can call 491-1311.
Lake Charles Police were dispatched to the Le Jolliet Apartments at 4101 5th Ave. on Thursday in reference to a shooting.
