2018 Miss Cajun Music Festival Queen, Sarah Sommers will reign over the 32nd annual Cajun French Music and Food Festival July 19-20. A French Mass will be held at 8:30 a.m., July 21 at the Cajun French Music Association building.
Sarah is the daughter of Bill and Belinda Sommers of Moss Bluff. She is a 2016 graduate of Sam Houston High School and is currently a senior at McNeese State University studying English and French Education.
The pageant is sponsored by the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association. Joining Miss Cajun Music during her reign are the 2018 Queens:
Ms. Cajun Music — Melissa Crador, daughter of Patsy Johnson and J.M. Crador and mother of Bella Pousson, all of Lake Charles.
Teen Miss — Layken Hodge, daughter of Brian and Leighanne Williamson of Lake Charles.
Junior Miss — Gabrielle Elizabeth Harris, daughter of Estus and Brigette Hines and Robert Harris, all of Carlyss.
Deb Miss — Kiya Williamson, daughter of Brian and Leighanne Williamson of Lake Charles and Jana Prudhomme of Kinder.
Little Miss — Bella Pousson, daughter of Melissa Crador and Rusty Pousson of Lake Charles.
Petite Miss — Cecilia Hollier, daughter of Jeremy and Kaitlynn Hollier of Lacassine.
Toddler Miss — Aubrey Miller, daughter of Kayla Johnson and Ursin Miller of Lake Charles.
Tiny Miss — Kendyll Blair Bourgeois, daughter of Kate Dickson of Lake Charles.
The 2018 Queens have represented the Lake Charles Chapter at numerous events throughout the year. Sarah had the opportunity to represent the festival as a delegate in the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant held annually during their convention in February. She has traveled to various Fairs and Festivals throughout the State of Louisiana.
