A 50-year-old Lake Charles man has been accused of having or attempting to have sex with young girls for the second time in two months, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Terry James Goodeaux, 3382 L. Benoit Road, Lot 29, was rearrested Thursday morning and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Myers said Goodeaux is accused of attempting to have sexual contact with a 7-year-old girl who was visiting her family that lived in the same mobile home park as Goodeaux.

Bond was set at $150,000.

Goodeaux was previously arrested on Aug. 7 and charged with two counts of sexual battery. Bond for those charges was set at $500,000. He was accused of having sexual contact with two other 7-year-old girls that lived in the same trailer park.

Sulphur woman charged with theft

A 20-year-old Sulphur woman has been charged with theft over $1,500 after allegedly stealing from the casino where she worked, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Briana Cherie Biles, 20 Fowler Drive, was arrested Wednesday.

Myers said Biles was captured on video taking over $2,000 in payment from customers and placing the cash in her pocket. Biles then charged other customers’ card in the amount she pocketed, Myers said.

Bond was set at $10,000.

Vermilion Parish juvenile accused of cattle theft

ABBEVILLE — A Vermilion Parish teenager is accused of stealing 24 cattle from a parish cattleman.

State authorities say the 16-year-old suspect was found at a stockyard trying to load stolen heifer calves and “hide them elsewhere.”

KATC-TV reports the calves have since been returned to the owner, who estimates the cattle value at $26,400.

Meanwhile, at the same stockyard, the manager reported 17 cows were placed in a back pen and no one knew how they got there. The manager contacted a state Department of Agriculture and Forestry brand inspector who said the cows were stolen from the same Vermilion cattleman.

The department, in a news release Thursday, said the juvenile confessed to sheriff’s deputies about stealing the cattle. He was released after posting $2,500 bond.

Texas men face wildlife violations

CAMERON — Two men from Orange, Texas, have been charged with destroying crab traps, flight from an officer and three commercial fishing violations.

According to a news release from the Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jireh Slaughter, 21, and Tevvin Jones, 20, were arrested on Sept. 20.

Slaughter was also charged with failure to comply with personal flotation devices laws.

Accused burglars facing more charges

JENNINGS — Five Lake Charles residents arrested Monday in connection with a rash of vehicle burglaries in the Sulphur area are facing additional charges in Jennings.

Alvina Wilknika Pouchie, 23, Christine Renea Johnson, 18, Mark Wayne Thibodeaux, 20, Royce Jamar Thibodeaux, 22, and Phillip Dereal Williams, 20, are suspects in the burglaries of four vehicles at a Jennings hotel in August, Police Chief Todd D’Albor said.

The suspects reportedly broke windows in vehicles parked at the hotel and removed valuable items. Items taken included money, purses, handguns and other valuable items, according to Deputy Chief Danny Semmes.

The suspects remain in the Sulphur City Jail on 16 counts of simple burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools.

• Ashley Renee John, 33, 1904 4th St. — filing or maintaining false public records. Bond: $25,000.

• Wallay O’Brien, 64, 5100 Weaver Road — unauthorized use of an access card over $500, accessory after the fact, theft under $500. Bond: $20,000.

• Michael David Landry, 42, 4703 Orleans St. — two counts of aggravated assault, cyberstalking, violations of protective orders.

• Briana Cherie Biles, 20, 20 Fowler Drive, Sulphur — theft over $1,5000.

• Leward Scott Clement, 22, 2653 Old DeRidder Highway — second-offense marijuana possession, first-offense marijuana possession, speeding, probation violation.

The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Kyle Dugas, 39, Lafayette — simple kidnapping, domestic abuse battery. Bond: $40,000.

• Robert Williams, 19, Ragley — unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond: $15,000.

• Kelvin Fowler, 29, DeRidder — drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $5,000.

• Preston Jackson, 27, DeRidder — simple criminal damage to property. Bond: $5,000.

• Kevin Cooley, 31, DeRidder — simple criminal damage to property following an investigation Bond: $5,000.
