<span class="R~sep~ACopyBody">A suspect in the April 7 shooting death of former LaGrange High School running back Darius Edwards has been identified and charged, according to a report from KPRC-TV in Houston.</span>

<span class="R~sep~ACopyBody">Edwards, a former football player at Prairie View A&amp;M University, had been shot multiple times at a party in Hempstead, Texas, and was pronounced dead on arrival at an area hospital.</span>

<span class="R~sep~ACopyBody">Dwayne Anthony Henry, 23, was charged Tuesday in Edwards’ death.</span>

<span class="R~sep~ACopyBody">Henry, who had been booked April 29 into the Harris County jail on a California murder warrant, is being held on no bond, authorities said.</span>
