A 51-year-old Starks man pleaded not guilty Monday in state district court to felony charges of domestic abuse battery second-offense, and strangulation.

Francisco Moreno, Jr. was arrested on Feb. 18 and has remained in the Calcasieu Correctional Center since that time.

A trial date for Moreno has not yet been set.
