ROADWORK: Upcoming road closures across the region

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a full road closure (eastbound and westbound) for La. 14 from the La. 397/Ward Line roundabout to La. 397 beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, March 14, and ending at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. This closure is necessary for crews to make subsurface drainage repairs. Motorists traveling west on La. 14 will head north on La. 397, west on US 90 and south to Gerstner Memorial Blvd. Motorists traveling east on La. 14 will head north on Gerstner Memorial Blvd., east on U.S. 90 and south on La. 397.

The left lane of La. 378 (Sampson Street) will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, through 5 a.m. Friday, March 6, beginning at the left-turn lane from the I-10 South Service Road and continuing north on La. 378 up to 500 feet past the first set of train tracks. The closure is necessary for coring the inside lane shoulder.

The left lane along I-10 Westbound from Exit 26 (Trousdale Road/PPG Drive) to a quarter mile before Exit 25 (I-210) will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4,  through 5 a.m. Thursday, March 5. The closure is necessary for coring the inside lane shoulder.
