Jennings mom accused of giving drugs to child

A Jennings mother is among two women accused of providing illegal narcotics to their minor children, according to information released Tuesday by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Brooke Lane Labouve, 36, of Jennings is accused of providing methamphetamine and marijuana to her child. She was arrested Friday on one count of cruelty to a juvenile. Her bond was set at $50,000.
Monesha Mashaun Mouton, 32, of Crowley is accused of providing methamphetamine and cocaine to her three children. She has been charged with three counts of cruelty to a juvenile
The two women were arrested following separate investigations by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Children and Family Services.
Both women were booked into the Acadia Parish Jail following their arrest.
