ROADWORK: Upcoming road closures across the region

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a right lane closure along U.S. 90 at the PPG Drive Exit ramp split, beginning 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24. The PPG Drive Exit Ramp will be closed during this time. The closure will be picked up nightly. PPG Drive will reopen after each night’s operation.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct barrier rail installation.

The right lane along Interstate 10 Westbound will be closed between Exit 30A (N. Lakeshore Drive) and the North Lakeshore Drive on-ramp from 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24. The left lane on the North Lakeshore Drive service road will also be closed during this time. The on-ramp to I-10 WB will remain open.
The closure is necessary for erecting missing light poles in these areas.

The right lane of the Interstate 210 flyover ramp from the I-10 Eastbound Exit Ramp to I-10 (Prater Road overpass) will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25. The I-10 Eastbound Exit and Pete Manera exit will remain open during this time.

The northbound lane of La 97 on Bayou Nezpique Bridge, at milepost 2.0 in Jennings, will be closed 8 a.m.- noon Monday, Feb. 23, weather permitting, to allow crews to perform routine bridge inspections. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter
