Firearm discharged inside local nightclub

A Texas man has been arrested after allegedly discharging a firearm inside a Lake Charles nightclub.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a call at a local nightclub on Common Street in reference to shots fired.
During the initial investigation, deputies learned someone discharged a firearm inside the club. Later the same morning deputies arrested Cameron B. Charles, 26, of Pearland, Texas, after he turned himself in to CPSO. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm; illegal use of a weapon; possession of a firearm in the premises of an alcoholic beverage outlet; and aggravated criminal damage to property.
Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $357,500.
The investigation continued and subsequent search warrants were executed. After the completion of a search warrant at a home on Stingray Drive in Lake Charles, Brionna M. Moore, 25, and Henry J. Chretien, 34, both of Lake Charles, were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. They are charged with 2 counts of possession of CDS I with intent to distribute; 3 counts of possession of CDS II; and illegal carrying of a weapon during the commission of a crime or in the presence of a CDS. Chretien was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Their bonds are still pending.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
CPSO Detective Shane Broussard is the lead investigator on the case. The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) assisted in the investigation.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
