A part-time Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office part-time School Crossing Guard has been arrested on sexual battery charges.

CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent said the victim was not a child.

Vincent said Olin P. Mott Sr., 73, of Westlake was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Westlake Police Department.

He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with two counts of sexual battery and one count of simple battery.

Vincent said the alleged incident did not occur while Mott was on duty in his role as crossing guard.

Mott has been terminated by Sheriff Stitch Guillory.
