Randy Jack Russell, 71, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in his residence.

He was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. and had lived in California for 30 years before retiring in Sulphur in 2005. Randy worked for many years as a Construction Estimator with Exclusive Metal. He enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes, competing in numerous horseshoe tournaments.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Margaret Russell; his children, Jeffrey Daniel Russell, and Kathleen Frances Camardelle and husband, Randy, all of Sulphur; and his six grandchildren, Danielle, Chloe, and London Russell, and Aiden, Colton, and Adalynn Camardelle; and two great-grandchildren, Ivy Lynn Dixon and Roman Russell-Dixon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Hildegarde Russell, and his brother, Roy Daniel Russell.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at the V.F.W. Post #2130, 5676 Lake Street in Lake Charles. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
