Second arrest made in death of man found shot inside wrecked vehicle

A second arrest has been made in the March 9 death of a man found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a wrecked vehicle on McNeese Street.
Lake Charles Police previously told the American Press that officers were called to a vehicle crash just before 11 p.m. March 9 near the McNeese Legacy Center. When they arrived, officers found Daniel Hernandez inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.
He later died of his injuries.
Lake Charles Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin Kirkum said detectives and SWAT team members arrested Authur Lee Jack, 19, Tuesday morning at a West LaGrange Street apartment. He has been charged with second-degree murder with a bond set at $950,000.
Keith Demetrius Syas, 19, was arrested last month. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
