Kirsten Elizabeth Parish, 29, of Sulphur, gained her wings on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Kirsten was born in Sulphur on May 10, 1995, to Kathryn and Shawn Parish. She was a 2013 graduate of Vinton High School. Kirsten was very witty and had a great sense of humor. She loved music and going to concerts, fishing, playing cards or board games with her best friends and animals of any kind. Most of all she loved her family. 

Kirsten was preceded in death by her father, Shawn Dale Parish, and grandfather, Willie LeBlanc.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Kathryn Parish; brother, Christopher Allen Parish; maternal grandmother, Mary LeBlanc; paternal grandparents, Sharon and Dale Parish; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler will officiate. Visitation will be at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
