SW La. school lunch menus March 31-April 4

The following menus for March 31-April 4 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Barbecue baked chicken, baked potato half, shredded cheese cup, navy beans, biscuit, apricots, dried cranberries.

TUESDAY: Popcorn chicken with Asian sauce, fried rice, mixed vegetables, yam patty, Mandarin oranges, blueberries, sugar cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti, sweet peas, garden salad with cucumber, whole-wheat breadstick, grapes, pears.

THURSDAY: Red beans and rice with sausage or ham, mustard greens, cornbread, strawberry slices with whip fruit cocktail.

FRIDAY: Shrimp fettuccine alfredo, steamed carrots, broccoli with ranch dressing, cheddar crackers, banana, mixed berry fruit cup.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Waffles, syrup, banana, blueberries.

TUESDAY: Ham slice, grits or honey bun, apple slices, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Biscuit, jelly, sausage patty, pears, pineapple tidbits.

THURSDAY: Muffin, yogurt with granola, peaches, grapefruit.

FRIDAY: Strawberry and cream cheese bagel, string cheese stick, banana, orange wedges.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Chicken and queso nachos, red beans, taco salad cup, chilled pears, cinnamon rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti and meatsauce, broccoli, carrots, fruit medley, breadstick.

THURSDAY: Beef, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, garden salad, peaches, rolls.

MONDAY: Cinnamon toast, pears.

TUESDAY: French toast sticks, pears.

WEDNESDAY: Western scramble, whole-grain toast, peaches.

THURSDAY: Cereal, whole-grain toast, fruit.

TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, grape tomatoes, tossed salad, carrots, honeydew and cantloup, Italian roll.

WEDNESDAY: Homestyle chili with Fritos, broccoli and cheese, green beans, cornbread muffins, fruit.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, cucumber slices, cornbread muffins, applesauce cup.

FRIDAY: Cheesy lasagna roll-up, side salad, grape tomatoes, green beans, Italian rolls, melon.
