NextGen Aviation LLC, which is expanding its multi-state footprint, has chosen Chennault International Airport for its new location.

NextGen Aviation specializes in avionics installations and troubleshooting; RVSM certifications; and IFR and VFR certifications. It installs the most advanced avionics technology to maximize flight safety.

Owner David Sprouse, a pilot himself, has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He also was an avionics technician for the U.S. Air Force, responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the avionics systems of F-16, F-117 and CV-22 aircraft.

“Aviation can be even safer and more efficient with the application of new technologies,” Sprouse said. “The new technologies of today and tomorrow will help make aviation safer and more efficient. I can offer anyone a solution to make their aircraft safer and more efficient in a cost-effective manner.”

“We welcome this new opportunity at the airport,” said Chennault Executive Director Kevin Melton. “General aviation is an important part of our mission and we have sought and will continue to seek opportunities for growth. Historically, this level of avionics service has been limited in Southwest Louisiana. We are hopeful that NextGen Aviation’s footprint will quickly grow at Chennault as we continue to take pride in serving our general aviation community.”
