It’s game time! Every year at this time, two NFL teams prepare their strategies to win the Super Bowl and claim the championship. This year, another group of warriors are stepping onto the field — USA energy workers. Inspired by President Trump’s actions on his first day as the 47th president of the United States, signing multiple executive orders, these workers are shifting from defense to offense. Three of these orders directly support the nation’s energy program, reinforcing energy as a central strength of this administration. Notably, the president also announced the Gulf of Mexico would be renamed the Gulf of America, emphasizing the vital role this region has played — and will continue to play — in securing energy for the U.S. and the Americas.
Since the inception of the U.S. energy program, a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to getting the job done have been hallmarks of American energy workers. However, in recent years, these workers have been hamstrung by permitting delays, restricted access, and legal battles, forcing them into a defensive position. Excessive regulations have strangled progress, limiting the nation’s ability to harness its full energy potential. President Trump’s new policy direction, signified by his Executive Orders, marks a decisive shift—one that empowers USA energy workers to return to an offensive strategy.
The nation has suffered from soaring inflation, impacting everything from energy and food to building materials. Experts estimate that 40% of inflation stems from rising energy costs. As energy prices climb, the costs of transportation, raw materials, and manufacturing inevitably follow, burdening American consumers.
Now, with this renewed offensive strategy, USA energy workers can focus on delivering affordable, reliable energy—critical for a healthier environment, stronger energy security, and a more prosperous economy. This approach follows the principle of Balancing the 3Es®: Environment, Energy, and Economy.
Research shows that no wealthy nation maintains a low-energy consumption model. The level of energy use directly correlates with human prosperity. Unless we are willing to accept “peak human prosperity,” we must reject policies that promote “peak energy consumption.”
The best path forward is to fully embrace domestic energy production. USA energy workers—qualified, dedicated, and eager—now have the full backing of the White House to explore, generate, produce, transport, distribute, refine, and export American energy. With this support, they are ready to reclaim their role as the backbone of national prosperity and security. It’s kick off time.
