A former Texas veterinarian accused of sexually assaulting young girls at a local casino after using animal medication to sedate them has been found not guilty by an Allen Parish jury.

Todd Michael Glover, 42, was recently found not guilty of first-degree rape and three counts of sexually battery by an Allen Parish Jury in the 33rd Judicial Court in Oberlin.

Glover had been indicted in June 2019 on accusations that he drugged and sexually assaulted three underage girls, one of who was 17 years old at the time, at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder in late 2018. He was reportedly acquainted with at least one of the victims.

Following an investigation by the Coushatta Tribal Police, Glover was arrested at his home in Texas. A civil lawsuit filed against him by one of the victims’ families accused him of using animal medication from his clinic to sedate the victims.

In 2019, Glover’s veterinarian license was suspended by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners due to improper record-keeping of controlled substances, including ketamine, diazepam, and tramadol. He was also accused of unnecessarily prescribing Adderall to pets, including his own and those of his employees.

Glover was also convicted of prescription fraud in 2022.
