Juneau new VP of clinic operations

Ochsner Christus Health–Southwest Louisiana has named Jeremiah “JJ” Juneau as vice president of clinic operations.

In his new role, Juneau will oversee the physician network, operations and strategic initiatives for the Ochsner Christus Clinics.

Most recently, Juneau served as the director of administrative services for Christus Ochsner Health SWLA, managing imaging, patient transportation and oncological services while overseeing various contracted services. His role involved strategic collaboration with executives, medical directors, physicians and departmental leaders to meet high standards of care and operations.

Throughout his career, Juneau has successfully strengthened provider relationships, established clinical education partnerships, and improved patient care processes through innovation and operational efficiency.

Juneau recently completing his MBA with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana Christian University. He also earned Graduate Certificates in Organizational Administration (2024) and Healthcare Administration (2023) from the same institution. JJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. His earlier credentials include a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Delgado Community College (2007) and an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology from Louisiana State University at Alexandria (2006).

Gaudet joins LABI team

BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry today announced new hires to begin 2025, the organization’s 50th anniversary.

Rowdy Gaudet will serve as senior vice president of marketing and strategic communications.

Gaudet, a Lake Charles native, brings an abundance of policy and communication experience from more than a decade of public and private service, most recently at V. Graham, a financial services firm.

Gaudet earned his master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University and his bachelor’s degree in communications from McNeese State University. He also obtained an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Through leadership positions at Baton Rouge City Hall, including as the District 3 councilman on the East Baton Rouge Metropolitan Council, he has fine-tuned skills ranging from government relations to strategic planning and crisis communications.

Walker named plant manager

WESTLAKE — Eric Walker was recently named plant manager/COO of Calca Solutions hydrazine plant, which produces hydrazine solutions and propellants for a wide customer base spanning the country, in addition to select companies in Canada and Mexico.

Previous to joining Calca Solutions as the senior director of operations in the fall of 2024, Walker held various positions at Sasol for more than 22 years, most recently as the vice president operations Americas. He started his career at Sasol after having earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering.

Walker has served on the boards of the Lake Area Industry Alliance, Louisiana Chemical Association, and the Chamber Southwest Louisiana, and he will soon be reappointed to the LAIA board.

Kern served as plant manager/COO for 14 years and has worked at the site for more than 46 years. He will step into an internal consulting role for the company as Calca Solutions is on a trajectory for expansion.

BBB announces board of directors

The Better Business Bureau Serving Southwest Louisiana’s board of directors has announced its newly appointed officers for 2025.

Stacey Dion Corbello, owner of COR Wealth Management, will serve as chairperson, Darrel Metoyer of Boyd Gaming as vice-chair, Matthew Welsh of West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital as treasurer, James Hurley will serve as secretary, and Cheyenne Boudreaux of Mission Flares & Combustion as ex officio.

The following individuals will serve as board members at-large: Christa Comeaux of Home Builders Association, Amanda Cox of Latter & Blum | Compass, Brett Downer of O’Carroll Group, Kay Fox of Beauregard Electric Cooperative Inc., Jeremy Soileau of  Bolton Ford, Robert Soileau of J&J Exterminating, and Jason Williams of Pat Williams Construction.

Kody Cannon of Sigler, Arabie & Cannon Attorneys at Law will serve as counsel to board.

The organization has also announced newly inducted members: Jared Kennison of Kennison Forest Products, Ryan Nettles of Pro Pools and Michael Talbot of Port Aggregates.
