Mary Elizabeth Hardy, 61, passed away on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, in her residence.  

She was a native of Beaumont, Texas and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 46 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mary worked for many years as co-owner and office manager of Carl Hardy Sr. Construction. She enjoyed family, friends, traveling, cooking and most of all her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Carl Hardy Sr. of Sulphur, La.;  her children, Carl Hardy Jr (Joni), Marcus Hardy (Heather), Matthew Hardy (Brittany), and her grandchildren, Kenzi Hardy, Xavier Hardy, Sebastian Hardy, Oliver Hardy and Silas Hardy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Pearl Andrepont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27 in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Richard, M.S. will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday in the church.
