The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Makeithen Wayne Crawley, 19, 1205 Field St., Westlake — prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; two counts armed robbery; aggravated assault with a firearm; probation detainer. Bond: $760,500.

Jadavien Demarco Banks, 37, 630 16th St. — two counts direct contempt of court; drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; penalties for stop and yield sign violations; operating vehicle while license is suspended. Bond: $10,600.

Javonte Jamaine Pete, 24, 2465 La. 397 No. 23 — possession of firearm carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; child desertion; probation detainer. Bond: $12,500.

Jemeashia Tyreka Moore, 23, 2465 La. 397 No. 23, Welsh — domestic abuse battery-child endangerment.

Garrett JohnBrown Ellender, 25, 297 Edwin Ellender Road, Sulphur — illegal possession of stolen things from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $17,500.

Phillip Smith III, 34, 2703 Center St. — operating while intoxicated, first offense; vehicular negligent injuring; operating vehicle while license is suspended; traffic-control signals. Bond: $13,600.

Douglas Paul Girard, 51, Lafayette — simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; criminal mischief. Bond: $7,500.

Jaquisha Janett Crawford, 33, Houston — attempted theft of a firearm. Bond: $25,000.

Chelsey Rae Gatte, 34, 3022 Gum Island Road, Sulphur — illegal possession of stolen things from $5,000 but less than $25,000. Bond: $12,500.

Michael Anthony Simmons Jr., 30, 17493 Peloquin Road, Jennings — direct contempt of court; simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
