Arrest made in last month’s shooting in Prien Lake Mall parking lot

A 20-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged in last month’s shooting in the parking lot of the Prien Lake Mall.
Lake Charles Police Deputy Chief Kevin Kirkum said Brian Keith Williams Jr. has been charged with illegal use of weapons and dangerous instruments. His bond has been set at $250,000.
Kirkum said no injuries were reported in the Nov. 2 incident, which police believe was the result of a previous argument between several parties.
“No party has come forth to investigators with any specific information,” Kirkum said.
Some damage to personal property was reported during the shooting.
Kirkum said multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene.
