Fountain Ellis Settlemyer Jr. was born Feb. 4, 1938, and passed away Nov. 29, 2024, at the age of 86.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Stephens and husband, James, Vivian Ginger Grigsby and husband, Richard, Fountain Ellis Settlemyer III and wife, Shonna, and David Settlemyer; grandchildren, Kristen, Brittany, Caitlin, Tara, Christopher, and Julia; 11 great-grandchildren, and sister, Evelyn Bertrand.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fountain Ellis Settlemyer Sr. and Clarice Davis Settlemyer, and sister, Mary Jo Boudreaux.

A service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at Apostolic Temple, Lake Charles, La.
