No. 2 Sam Houston beat No. 15 Assumption 28-26, 24-26, 25-22, 25-12 on Saturday in the Division II regional round and advanced to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association state tournament at the Cajundome, starting on Thursday, Nov. 14.
