A Lake Charles man has been accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said deputies received information on Nov. 3 identifying Lee A. Adams, Jr., 23, as the assailant.

Vincent said he was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. He has been charged with first-degree rape, victim under the age of 13.

Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $1.5 million.
