SW La. school lunch menus Nov. 4-8

The following menus for Nov. 4-8 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chili and cornbread bowl or Shepard’s pie, whole-wheat roll, lima beans, peas and carrots, orange, apricots.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon pepper baked chicken or fish sandwich with pickles, baked beans, sweet potato puff, apple, sliced strawberries, brownie bite.

THURSDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, steamed carrots, garden salad with cucumber and bacon bits, blueberries, banana.

FRIDAY: Fair Day.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Pancake on a stick, string cheese stick, fruit cocktail, apple.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: French toast, syrup, yogurt with granola, pineapple tidbits, applesauce.

THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza, cereal bar or oatmeal, apple, sliced strawberries.

FRIDAY: Fair Day.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, potatoes and gravy, green beans, apple, rolls.

TUESDAY: Virtual Day.

WEDNESDAY: Hamburger steak and gravy over rice, corn, black-eyed peas, peaches.

THURSDAY: Pigs in a blanket, sweet potato fries, relish tray with dip, banana pudding.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, peaches.

TUESDAY: Virtual Day.

WEDNESDAY: Sausage gravy on a biscuit, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Grilled cheese, orange.

MONDAY: Corndogs, roasted potato wedges, side salad, grape tomatoes, sweet fruit mix.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: Lasagna rollups, side salad, seasoned green beans, grape tomatoes, honeydew and cantaloupe, Italian roll.

THURSDAY: Meatballs, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, mustard greens, grapes, honey wheat roll.

FRIDAY: Chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese, mixed veggies, celery sticks, peaches and blueberries.

MONDAY: Glazed donut holes, fruit yogurt, apple slices.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: Waffles, Mandarin oranges.

THURSDAY: Country breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash brown bites, toast, pears and blueberries.

FRIDAY: Crunchy cereal, bananas.

MONDAY: Beef and cheese nachos, fixing cup, pinto beans, salsa.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: Sloppy Joe, crinkle-cut French fries, baked beans, fruit mix.

THURSDAY: Mini cheese ravioli, mini Rice Krispies treat, dark green salad with cherry tomatoes, green beans, banana, Paradise Punch slushie.

MONDAY: Breakfast buns, Mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: No school.

WEDNESDAY: French toast sticks, diced peaches, sausage link.

THURSDAY: Whole-grain breakfast burrito with egg, turkey sausage and cheese, strawberry cup.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, steamed rice, potato salad, green beans, peach crunch, crackers.

FRIDAY: Hot dog, French fries, ranch-style beans, watermelon, coleslaw.

MONDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham crackers, pineapple tidbits.
