The 5-foot-11, 210-pound, senior broke the school career rushing touchdown record previously set by Cecil Collins.

He tied Collins’ record (93) in Week 6 against Iowa and broke it Friday night against archrival DeRidder on an 11- yard run in the first quarter after he had lit up the crowd with a 74-yard touchdown reception. He didn’t stop there, adding a 65-yard run in the second quarter and two more in the fourth quarter on runs of 29 and 14 yards.

At 264.3 yards per game, there is another school record within Ford’s reach with three regular-season games left and the postseason. He needs 860 yards to break Collins’ school career rushing record (7,834).

Ford’s career rushing touchdown total stands at 97. He has 1,850 yards on 189 carries.

He has offers from the Air Force Academy, Central Arkansas, Louisiana-Monroe and Tulane, according to 247sports. com.
