Harold “Sheu” Wayne Sheumaker

Harold Wayne Sheumaker, 77, of Sulphur, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024. Harold was born in Jennings on April 12, 1947. He was a US Army Veteran, where he received a Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam. Harold enjoyed music, hunting, fishing, shrimping, baking, spending time with family, and most importantly serving his lord and savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jeanette Sheumaker; sister, Linda Louise Thompson; brother, Charles William Sheumaker, and nephew, Christopher Thompson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Mary O’Quain Sheumaker; daughter, Morgan LeFaye Davault and husband, Billy, of Sulphur; son, Henry Tripp Sheumaker and wife, Annette, of Sulphur; sister, Kathryn Kaye Robichaux of Sulphur; grandchildren, Kyran Sheumaker and Bryan Westlund (Destiny); great-grandchildren, Riley, Be’la, Brayden, Morgan, Bowen, Persiphone, Jean, and Logan, and other extended family members.
A private graveside service will be held at Big Woods Cemetery. A memorial service will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 at Vincent Baptist Church. Bro.
