Early voting starts Friday

Early voting for the Nov. 5, open primary presidential/congressional election will be conducted 10 days, Friday, Oct. 18– Tuesday, Oct. 29, (excluding Sunday), 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m., for those who would like to vote early or who will be out of the parish on Election Day.
There are four sites in Calcasieu for early voting.
Registrar of Voters Office
Parish Courthouse, 1000 Ryan Street – Room 7, Lake Charles
Sulphur law enforcement building
500 N. Huntington St, Sulphur
Moss Bluff LIbrary
261 Parish Rd. Lake Charles
Iowa Library Activity Annex
109 S. Thompson Ave., Iowa
Absentee ballots can be requested through Nov. 1 and must be returned by 4:30 p.m., Nov. 4, to the registrar of voters office, 1000 Ryan St, Room 7, Lake Charles via mail or hand delivered (Military/Overseas accepted through Nov. 5. Ballots can also be hand delivered to any of the four early voting sites during early voting.
