Clifford Glen Coleman

We are saddened to announce the passing of Clifford Glen Coleman, 79, of Singer, La., born on July 27, 1945, in Lake Charles, La., who left us on Sept. 19, 2024. Clifford was married to Fay for 31 years, a devoted Dad to his three children, Jerry, Christina, and Janie, and a proud paw-paw.
Clifford graduated from Singer High School, served his country in the Army and then spent over two decades working as a supervisor in the Chemical Industry at OLIN before retiring. Clifford always had a deep sense of responsibility, ensuring that his family and his beloved dogs were well taken care of, showing his caring nature.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Coleman and Tammy of Singer, La., Christina Pourciau and Gerald of Port Allen, La., Janie Stevens and Billy Ray of Singer, La. Clifford also leaves behind his sister, Verna Meche, and brother-in-law, Kenneth of Westlake, La.; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Hally, Kristy, Katlyn; five great-grandchildren; fur babies, Charlie, Red and Billy, and a host of family and friends. Above all else, Clifford treasured his family, finding joy in spending time with them and creating lasting memories.
Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Coleman; parents, Nathan and Bernice Coleman, and granddaughter, Gracie Lynn.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Clifford’s life will be held at Havens Cemetery in Singer, La. on Oct. 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. Brother Donnis Ashworth will officiate the service. We invite all friends, family, and well-wishers to join us in remembering a kind-hearted man, a dedicated worker, and a loving family man. Farewell for now, Clifford, until we meet again.
